I need ideas for a short story?

For english at school i have to write an intriguing story of about 2 pages. It has to be creepy, spooky, scary or something like that. About a murder, a haunted house. Con people. That creepy scary stuff. Anyone have ANY ideas on what i can write about!? Please help, thank you!
