My child brought home from school a note, that said they wil be having how to become a Little Miss Hispanic"?

Should I go and ask when they will be having a "How to be a Little Miss American? I mean this is America, and my child heritage is Cherokee and Scotch Irish. Will they also hold a meeting for this?I rather have a Miss America, since this is America and that is why my child is here, because he and I want him to be American.
