Does boisterous religion objection to movies have any bearing on whether or not you see it?

Religious objections to movies and books are really nothing new. Whether it's Harry Potter and witchcraft or in the new movie "The Golden Comp" and some anti-catholic rhetoric someones always got to complain about something. So does this type of religious clambering stop you? make you want to see it? or not effect you either way?
