Does having a females womb/uterus taken out decrease a woman's chances of cancer?

I'm just curious cause i was reading that the female womb produces estrogen and I have also been reading that to much estrogen can lead to cancer esp artificial estrogen for women who take hormone replacement therapy after having a hysterectomy.
