How often does a young boy take a shower?

Twice a day for pre-teens is not the norm. Once a day is good. In the evening if they prefer. At that age I had to beg all three of mine to shower daily! Now the 16 year old does it no problem, but I still have to "remind" the 12 year old! Unless water is an issue, just let them be I suppose.
