Heres a question about legality and ethics in an interview situation?

I interviewed for a job in the same school system. It was for a high school chemistry position which I am endorsed in. I was interviewed twice but did not get the job. I found out later by a lady who was involved in the interviewing that the school board decided to hire a woman, a daughter of a school board member, who doesn't even have the credentials, i.e. has not taken the praxis. I am qualified but I didn't have the experience teaching chemistry at the high school level. Now I am wondering does this give me some lee way to break contract with the school system I am in? There is another high school job in another school system near by I have applied for.
