I have a girlfriend who I have been going out with for 2 yrs. She's a very sweet, and mature girl (I'm 22 and she's 26); however, I feel that her personality and mine don't match up too well. She knows how to cook for me, understands when I'm tired, knows how to give me a mage when I need it. My family loves her for these qualities and being a goodie good girl, and her mom is amazing; they just love to give and give and give. Almost seems like everything's too perfect. However, there are drawbacks... she's a pretty reserved person, and every time I go out with her or with our friends she has very little to say, and I don't want people to get the wrong message that she's antisocial or whatever. She doesn't have a lot of girlfriends to go out with, so she doesn't spend too much time figuring out out how to have fun either. Some times she can be too serious, and can't relax and just take a breather. Another thing is that she is not confident enough to lead anything or do anything beyond a certain boundary. She doesn't even want to try some times and that's what ticks me off a bit. She is always obsessed with getting married, and I feel she is taking the relationship a little too fast. Overall, I feel that I might be bored over time, and end up cheating on her. I don't want to enter that route. Something I am really scared of. She doesn't like to even dress up or look pretty for herself, yet she is always beating herself up and saying she is ugly. It puts me in awkward situations sometimes. I know I listed more cons than I did pros, but hopefully, I get my message across. I just want to know if I should try to change her? I would get rid of Sosa and try to trade Byrnes while he is hot to upgrade your OF though. Bonds may just play out the string after ping Aaron too, so if you can come up with 2 solid OF's, you'll be better off in the long run. I would definitely dump Sosa though, and one guy who may be available is Geoff Jenkins - he is starting well and has something to prove, and is in a strong lineup as well.

Cost for paving an apron for my driveway?

Any paving contractors out there? I filled my driveway with crushed rock, but can't extend the rock to the road cause the town snow plow will dig it up. Breakthrough bleeding, fake period, pregnancy likelihood...advice please?

Hi everyone just abit of advice needed will be greatly appreciated as fairly confused right now! Basically i finished my first pill pack, had a 7day break, and then started back on my second pack. When i started back this was last sunday and the previous night(Saturday 15th?) i had just finished my period. I continued to take my pill for a few days but stupidly forgot to take it for 4 days, and had unprotected during this time. Just Monday there, a week after finishing my period, it seemed like i was hit with another! I realise it cant be my period though as i only just finished it a week ago? It cant surely come back that quickly? It is heavier than my normal periods, and has went from bright red to dark, i'm on day two of this heavy flow now and it doesnt seem to be going anywhere! I'm also experiencing cramp which i dont even normally have during periods. Could this, despite being heavy etc, be breakthrough bleeding? If so is there still a possibility i could be pregnant? Gall bladder polyp with fatty liver?

Following a bout of pain and vomiting six months ago an ultrasound scan found a 1.8cm polyp and fatty liver. I have some low grade left sided pain and bouts of slight nausia. I have been on a low fat diet for six months and have lost 2stone but am still overweight. I do fee extremely tired a lot of the time and sometimes get extreme indigestion. I have suffered for some time from acid reflux causing difficulty swallowing. One consultant tells me that 1.8cm is very small and wanted to discharge me the other wants to remove the gallbladder as he says that 1.8cm is very large. I have been given no dietry advise both consultants inform me that this polyps is definately not a stone. Any advise should I have surgury what kind of things can I do to help myself. It worries me that this scan was done six months ago and the polyp may now be bigger and possibley cancerous.

Is my locking differential probably destroyed?

I have a 1997 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer with 4 wheel drive and a locking rear differential. I generally test it once a year (one wheel on slippery surface the other on good traction). It always worked well until last test 1 year ago; at that time it didn't want to unlock/release when I tried turning a corner . About halfway through the turn I felt it release and all seemed fine until this years test,it will not lock up at all. I am going to change the differential lube including the additive recommended for limited slip differentials, I just realized I was supposed to be changed every 30,000 miles and it now has over 112,000 and never been changed. I hope this will maybe free a sticking clutch. What do you think? Am i just being optimistic?

I am having a new home built and cannot decide on the kitchen cabinet colors. I can either go with a maple or white cabinets. Why would our dog forget who we are?

Part of the pipe in my chimney broke off inside how do i get it out?

the furnace guys looked at the chimney and said that part of the terracotta pipe broke off inside the chimney and it is causing problems with the venting for the furnace. if anyone has any ideas on what would be the best way to fix this problem. Bmw e36 325is in limp mode?

My 1993 bmw 325is automatic has been going into limp mode while driving in the morning (40-50℉). It seems to happen while coasting after it downshifts from 4th gear. The car only has 77,000 miles on it and other than going into limp mode the transmission is shifting fine. The night before this all started happening I did an improper burnout in which I floored the brakes, pulled up the e brake, and pushed the gas down about 3/4th's of the way but the tires didn't spin and the car moved forward very slowly. I did this for about 15 seconds and will never do it again. From this can anyone please diagnose what may be causing the to go into limp. PS when I turn off the car and restart limp mode goes away. I told them , that Bush was still President, and if we increase spending , even more money would be lost in corruption. I was flabbergasted that their response was , "so what". Money which exchange hands, even if through illegal means still increase the GNP, and that is how some see it. I had a friend who worked in a federal program which gives out free vaccinations. Very few vaccinations were handed out, and most of the vaccines was dumped. No one knows of this program. My umption was that the money spent on the vaccines was just to make drug companies rich and that they hide this program so those who needs the vaccines would end up buying it, making the drug companies richer. The point of the story is , that the Democrats only have these social programs to make corporations rich. Like government cheese was to help the dairy industry rather than help the people. Neither parties are accountable to the people. I agree the Democrats has no desire to get out of the war. They want to prolong the war to gain votes and increase hostilities towards the Republicans.

Sweet 16 Party Ideas?

I'm going to be turning 16 in February, so I only have 2 months to plan something perfect! This is going to be my last birthday party ever (from my parents anyways). My dream sweet 16 theme? It's simple really. I just wanted a Dj Dance party. Is this depression?

My aunt's fiance died about 5 years ago. Since then she won't clean her house, (it's pretty disgusting), does almost everything on impulse, can't stand to be around loud noises or children, is extremely judgmental and can't seem to see why some people don't like to be around this. She's also going through menopause. Is this just laziness and her true colors coming out or is a form of depression. She makes her son do everything for her and is now obese and getting a gastric byp because she thinks it's the easy way out. I'm not sure how to help her see what's really going on. She seems to be clueless about what her life is really like. She favors her daughter and worships her while she treats her son like a slave.

Which branch of the military is right for me?

No killing, travel the world, and law? All the services have legal branches but having only been in the Army, I only know what we offer. For us I believe there are only clerks and such for the JAG (Judge Advocate General) office as far as enlisted go. Enlisted is what you'll be until you earn a degree and then you will likely go into a program called "Green to Gold" (this refers to the rank insignia of going from the enlisted side to the comissioned officer side and, as far as I know, only the Army). As for traveling the world, the ocean and flying, I would suggest staying away from the Army. You will get stationed at a single post for around 3 years after your initial training and you will likely deploy to either Afghanistan or Iraq. Yes, there are soldiers from every branch here. This is my second year-long-or-more tour in four years and I can vouch that the Army brings everything and everyone it might need with it when it deploys, lol. And that's the end of my long answer to your long question, lol.

Why am i the only one wearing lots of makeup in college? what should i do?

ok so when i go to college i put on foundation, eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow and lipstick and i always like looking polished and put together and i wear jeans and sweatshirt but other girls wear no makeup or very little makeup and they come in sweatpants and they look like they are at home..i am in a pharmacy schools and almost all the students are study freaks..so is it just my college or do girls in other college wear less or no makeup and should i skip the eyeshadow to blend in with other girls?

I took my 5 y.o. to the Dr. on Monday because of a lot of purulent drainage from the right eye. He gave us prescription for eye drops. On Wednesday the pink eye spread to the left eye so we started in with the drops on the left eye. It's Friday now and I'm just wondering why he's still waking up with his eyes crusted shut. 6 and a half weeks pregnant with 3rd child and these symptoms are different?

Hi, im 6 1/2 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child, but these symptoms are really strange and different. My first was nothing, my 2nd i just had nausea a lot and running to the toilet, but this time around, im always hungry at least 2 hours after eating, and even then, im still starving! I get nausea if i don't eat and im already getting slight twinges in my mid/lower back on occasion and constant cat naps. I've read that these are signs of twins? As much as i desire to have twins, i want to know if other women have had these symptoms on their additional pregnancies?

Tax Question 1099-R. We just received this today. Can anybody give me any info about it?

We just got a 1099-R in the mail from our bank. We weren't expecting anything else so we filed our taxes over the weekend. I know I can take this in and give it to them but my question is how will it affect my taxes? It says $0.00 is taxable. It shows that some of it has federal income tax with held. The total amount for it is $4251.64 and it was for a Roth IRA that my husband had. Just trying to see if this will raise or lower our return. Thanks :)

Why is it that individuals who recieve Pell Grants don't have to pay it back?

I understand that a Pell Grant is essentially free money but I feel that it should be paid back. You have two students who have just graduated from college--student A qualified for a Pell Grant to support his/her education while student B had to take out a combination of subsidized, unsubsidized, and alternative loans. Both students graduated from college and now have a degree that will improve their chances of finding a job. Why does student B have to graduate in debt and not student A? Their parents financial situation at this point should not play a factor since these recent college graduates are on the verge of becoming financially independent. Yet, it will be student B that has the financial burden because his/her parents made too much money. Is it somehow umed that since student B came from a middle-income household that he/she has the capacity to pay off their student loans more so than student A (that is if student A had to repay his/her Pell Grant)?

Whenever I write a compostion (be it English or Bahasa Malaysia), I can never manage to write one like the nice ones in the model essay books. When i do homework (composition homework), I spend hours thinking and writing then I look at the answers and think " Why can't I write something like that". i feel like i want to redo the composition. This also becomes difficult with compositions regarding events and social problems. For example: smoking, traffic jams and tsunamis. Why does my dachshund have a bump on his nose?

I have a five month old dachshund and whenever we leave, we put him behind a fence in my house because he always chews everything up. Well when we came back, he had a bump on his nose. He's never had this before so we thought it was from him trying to get out of the fence. We felt the bump and it was really squishy so we don't think it's a scratch or anything from him trying to get out. We've pressed on it and he doesn't whimper or bark so I'm guessing it doesn't hurt. Why did I get dizzy while working out this morning?

This morning I was doing my regular workout regimen (30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of strength training). However, after completing the 30 minutes of cardio I got extremely dizzy as this never happened to me before. It took about 15 minutes to recuperate.
